Using the act of removing makeup as a metaphor, the artist exposes the vulnerable side of her self-image on video. In contrast to the millions of homemade instructional youtube clips on how to apply makeup to become more beautiful and sexy, this video considers the removal of the constructed female identity for the public and looks for the beauty in this intimate act.
